Indoor or outdoor?

Indoor LED walls run from P0.78 to P5 and are built for lobbies, boardrooms, retail floors and auditoriums. Outdoor LED walls run from P2.5 to P10, are weather-rated, and are built for storefronts, facades and roadside sites. The two are not interchangeable — the rating and the pitch range differ, and so does the mounting.

Which pixel pitch do you need?

Indoor

• Ultra-Fine (COB), P0.78–P1.56 — sharpest from under 1.5 m. Boardrooms, broadcast, HQ lobbies.

• Fine Pitch, P1.25–P2.5 — sharpest from 1.5–2.5 m. Meeting rooms, retail, churches.

• Standard, P3–P5 — sharpest from 3–5 m. Large venues, stages, arenas.

Outdoor

• Fine Pitch Outdoor, P2.5–P4 — sharpest from 2.5–4 m. Storefronts, close-range viewing.

• Standard Outdoor, P5–P10 — sharpest from 5–10 m and beyond. Billboards, highways, stadiums.

The number is roughly the closest distance in meters where the image looks smooth. Smaller number = sharper = higher price.

GOB coating

• Standard — exposed LEDs. Fine for high-mounted or protected positions where nothing touches the screen.

• GOB-coated — LEDs sealed under a clear protective resin. Resists bumps, dust and moisture, and wipes clean. Recommended for anything within reach, in public spaces, or in humid conditions.

If people can touch it, choose GOB.

LED is quoted by area, so two walls of the same size can differ substantially in price on pitch and mounting alone. Send us the elevation or the wall dimensions and we will quote against them.

LED or LCD?

• Size — LED is built to any size; LCD comes in fixed sizes.

• Viewing distance — LED works from under 1 m (COB) out to 10 m and beyond; LCD is best up to about 5 m.

• Outdoors — LED is fully outdoor-rated; LCD has semi-outdoor and outdoor models.

• Up close — LED shows a fine dot pattern, finer at lower pitch; LCD is sharp, like a TV.

• Protection — LED can be GOB-coated; LCD has a built-in glass panel.

• Warranty — LED 2 years; LCD 1 year.

Warranty

LED displays carry a 2-year warranty. LCD displays carry 1 year.
