Advertising on the glass, without blocking the glass

A transparent LED display mounts on or behind a glass surface and shows bright content while you can still see through it. Shoppers see the window display and the merchandise behind it. Staff inside still get daylight. Switched off, the display is close to invisible.

That is the reason it exists: a conventional LED wall on a storefront turns your glass into a solid panel. A transparent display does not.

How see-through do you need it?

Transparency is the decision that matters most here, more than pixel pitch.

• Transparent LED Panel: 60% to 85% see-through. The standard choice for storefronts and glass facades. The brightest of the three and the one that reads clearly from the street. Available at P3.9, P7.8, P10.4 and P15.6.

• Transparent LED Film: over 90% see-through. Self-adhesive: it sticks directly to glass you already have, with no structural modification. The right answer for an existing window or curtain wall you cannot alter.

• Transparent OLED Touch: 38% to 45% see-through, and interactive. The least transparent and the most capable: full HD, multi-touch, and customers can see the actual product behind the screen. For luxury retail and museum showcases. Ask us about availability.

The higher the transparency, the more of the view you keep, and the less bright and dense the image becomes. It is a direct trade, and which side you want depends on whether the glass or the message matters more.

Pixel pitch, on the panels

The panel range runs P3.9 through P15.6. As with any LED display, the number is roughly the closest distance in meters where the image looks smooth: smaller number, sharper picture, higher price. Transparent panels are usually read from across a footpath or a mall walkway rather than at arm's length, so the wider pitches are often the sensible spend here in a way they would not be indoors.

• Mall frontages: visible from the walkway, still open to the shop inside

• Glass facades and curtain walls: building-scale content that keeps the daylight

• Showcases and vitrines: the OLED touch option, with the product visible behind

Retrofit or new install

If the glass is already there and cannot be modified, the film is the direct answer: it applies to the existing surface. If the glass is being specified or replaced, the panel gives a brighter, denser image and is worth designing in from the start.

Sizing

Send us the glass elevation with rough dimensions and we will return a layout: the panel or film arrangement, the finished coverage, and how it fixes to the glass.

We do not rent LED displays for events. These are permanent installations, specified, supplied, installed and supported by Signarama Philippines from our Caloocan plant.
